Remember
Honour and remember drivers and members of the recovery and haulage industries who are no longer with us.
Lights At Night Convoy brings together the recovery, haulage and wider transport community for a unique night-time convoy, born from remembrance, built on respect and brought together by the road.

Lights At Night Convoy brings together people from across the recovery, haulage and wider transport community for a unique illuminated procession.
Recovery vehicles, HGVs and other participating vehicles come together after dark, creating a spectacular display of lights and beacons.
But behind the lights is something much more important. We convoy in remembrance, in respect and together as one community on the road.

Lights At Night Convoy began with a very personal tribute.
In July 2024, members of the recovery and transport community came together in convoy to remember David Pickering, former owner of Elite Recovery Midlands, who had sadly passed away.
David was well known and respected throughout the industry, and the response to the first convoy showed how strongly the community wanted to come together to pay its respects.
After the event, families who had watched commented that although they enjoyed seeing the convoy, many of the flashing beacons were difficult to fully appreciate in daylight.
That simple idea led to the creation of Lights At Night Convoy. Later in 2024, the vehicles returned after dark.
A planned convoy in 2025 was unfortunately unable to proceed due to circumstances beyond the organisers’ control. Rather than rush another event, 2026 became a year of planning, governance, consultation and building stronger foundations.
Lights At Night returns in 2027.
